Anne Urquhart, Australian politician, a Senator for Tasmania – COVID-19 Vaccination Status (Prevention of Discrimination) Bill 2022
By Baldmichael Theresoluteprotector’sson
My attention was brought to this lady in a post by Rebekah Barnett regarding the COVID-19 Vaccination Status (Prevention of Discrimination) Bill 2022.
Senate votes down bill to protect Australians from discrimination based on Covid vaccination status
Aug 14, 2024
But before I look in more detail at the bill and what Anne Urquhart said in the brief debate I will examine Urquhart’s Wikipedia page to glean what I can about her. There is not much.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Urquhart
I will comment as I go and will be definitely tongue-in-cheek where needed.
This is her.
For those who do not know, Urquhart is pronounced ‘Ercut’
So the first thing I notice is that she has short hair, that is she has had her ‘urquhart’ in keeping with her surname.
The Wiki page says
Anne Elizabeth Urquhart (née Polden; born 18 October 1957) is an Australian politician. She is a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and has served as a Senator for Tasmania since 2011. She was a senior official with the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU) prior to entering politics.
My apologies to any Australian readers, but I must point out that ‘Australian’ contains the anagram ‘Satan’ which might explain why there has been so much acceptance of the COVID nonsense.
Of course, the problems intensify in Tas-mania where clearly madness is endemic.
As to the Australian Labor Party (ALP), well the longest single anagram is ‘transpiratory’ as in the process of water movement through a plant and its evaporation.
Which tells us nothing significant one would think. However, these two full phrases arise:
– aaa transpiratory bull
– Baal transpiratory Ula
So perhaps the first indicates the movement of a lot of bull through the ALP which is rated triple A, first class bull as it were.
And second just indicates Baal is within the ALP’s veins.
And just to make it clear that the ALP clearly has issues, of the 7 next longest single words these two stand out:
– Barratrously –meaning fraudulently or vexatiously, especially in legal contexts
– Paralysation
Thus we can get ‘a barratrously anal pit’ and ‘brutal paralysation Ra’.
And we mustn’t forget there is the phrase ‘tribally pro Satan aura’.
Early life
Urquhart was born in Latrobe, Tasmania, the second of three children born to Tom and Betty Polden. After starting a family with her husband Graham, in July 1980 she began working as a process worker at the Edgell-Birds Eye factory in Ulverstone, which was later taken over by Simplot Australia.
Latrobe is a small town of just over 4,000 people, and its sporting activities include woodchopping, Ferret racing, Cherry Spitting and Gum boot throwing.
Sounds like fun.
According to her maiden speech “My working life began on the afternoon shift at the potato factory in Ulverstone.”
From
So not wood chipping but potato chipping I suppose. I see her ALP biography which says the factory was a vegetable processing factory. There are rumours that Tasmanian politicians’ brains were processed there.
https://anneurquhart.com.au/about
Edgell-Birds Eye has a link to a Wikipedia page on Birds Eye which I gather is just a brand now. The original company was founded in the USA and after various acquisitions by other companies is now owned by Conagra Brands, Inc.
This is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Where Hillary Clinton and Al Capone also came from. And Jay Pritzker is governor of Illinois.
I doubt this is that significant. Mind you Conagra has an interesting history which is worth reviewing.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conagra_Brands
Maybe Conagra is a con.
I see Latrobe has a chocolate factory specialising in Belgian chocolates. Tasmanian chocolate doesn’t have the same ring, but it doesn’t seem very logical to me.
Rather like Anne Urquhart perhaps?
Also of note is the Geneva Christian College. It looks rather good.
Anne didn’t go there, her Secondary School was Ulverstone High School

‘Latrobe, Tasmania’ anagrams to:
– AI abnormal state
– A lamebrain toast
– Relit Obama Satan
I doubt these are that significant.
Urquhart joined the Food Preservers’ Union of Australia, initially serving as a delegate and then from August 1990 as a full-time organiser. Her union was later merged into the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU), and she served as state president from 1998 to 2004 and state secretary from 2004 to 2010.
Politics
Urquhart served as a vice-president of the Australian Labor Party (Tasmanian Branch) from 2004 and as a delegate to the ALP National Conference. She was elected to the Senate at the 2010 federal election, and re-elected to a second term in 2016. Her office is located in Devonport.
In 2014 Urquhart was elected state president of the ALP, replacing Rebecca White. She has served on a variety of committees during her time in the Senate. She has been the Labor Party’s chief whip in the Senate since 2016, having previously served as a deputy whip from 2013 to 2016. After the ALP’s victory at the 2022 federal election she became chief government whip.
There is not much to observe at this stage except she has really been mainly involved in politics.
However I did find this.
Anne Urquhart elected as the new Tasmanian Labor President
Sat 10 May 2014
It says
The new Tasmanian Labor Party president does not think the party’s disastrous performance at the March state election is a reflection on its policy platform.
And
But Anne Urquhart is not convinced there was anything wrong with Labor’s policy platform at the poll.
“Unfortunately the Tasmanian public stopped listening to us, but our policies are progressive, they’re good,” she added.
So she thinks. She hasn’t looked up the problems with the word ‘progressive’ has she?
Progressive and politics – what does it mean?
I suggested Anne Urquhart might not be very logical. This is looking like a strong possibility.
COVID-19 Vaccination Status (Prevention of Discrimination) Bill 2022
Here’s the government link to the bill.
https://parlwork.aph.gov.au/Bills/s1358
It is clear and simple to read and, as I see it, it is essentially wishing to prevent discrimination by the government authorities, except in relation to frontline health or care workers employed (clauses 7, 8 & 9), and businesses and voluntary bodies (clause 10).
Of course if you are frontline health or care workers employed it may be tough, but clearly poisoning the health and care workers with toxic vaccines is necessary for some reason.
Probably because they tend to do it to the same to patients.
This fulfils the little known law, ‘have done to yourselves as you do unto others.’
A.k.a. karma.
This is Senator Hanson of One Nation speaking in support of the bill.
Senate Blocks Bill Protecting Aussies from Jab Discrimination – Labor, Greens, Crossbench to Blame! Aug 14, 2024
I managed to find the transcript for the proceedings on the government website.
This is Anne Urquhart’s response.
Senator URQUHART (Tasmania—Government Whip in the Senate) (09:16):
The government does not support the COVID-19 Vaccination Status (Prevention of Discrimination) Bill. This bill is yet another stunt by Senator Hanson and One Nation, and our nation’s public health is too important for that. It should be rejected by all parties.
The government’s position on the COVID-19 vaccination is that it is voluntary, as are all vaccinations in Australia, although we encourage and aim to have as many Australians vaccinated as possible. COVID-19 vaccinations protect people in Australia against serious illness and death and have been instrumental in allowing society to reopen both socially and economically.
Since the COVID-19 vaccination program commenced, vaccination has been critical in reducing hospitalisations, admissions to intensive care units and deaths. Vaccinations remain highly effective in preventing severe illness and death and are needed to maintain protection, particularly for priority and at-risk populations. As we can expect to experience further COVID-19 waves, to maintain protections we need to continue to follow the expert advice on the need for additional vaccine doses, particularly as new variants of concern and new vaccines and treatments emerge.
We shouldn’t focus on conspiracy theories and fringe agendas. Our priority continues to be ensuring that Australians continue to receive the vaccinations recommended for their age and health status.
I am not sure what other stunts she is referring to in her first paragraph. As to Urquhart she is just another type of ‘stunt or something that rhymes with it.
Senator Rennick (Queensland) makes an excellent reply. He starts with
“We shouldn’t continue to focus on conspiracy theories and fringe theories.” I don’t think the thousands of Australians injured by the COVID vaccine would take too kindly to that disrespectful remark there by Senator Urquhart and the Labor Party. Vaccine injuries are not a conspiracy theory.
I think he is being too kind. ‘Disrespectful remark’ can be anagrammed to something much stronger. Because I am sensitive to my readers I will not mention it here. In any event Anne Urquhart is extremely ignorant at best, parroting the government line.
Anne Urquhart made an error on the voting at the first attempt (and which would have actually passed the bill at second reading) as she says:
Apologies, that was my error. I seek leave for the question to be put again. We were on the wrong side, and that was my error.
The bill was voted on again and so failed to pass.
What a stupid woman Anne is.

She talks in parliament about other countries children not receiving ‘life saving vaccines’ and ‘vaccine preventable diseases’. Utter bollox she talks, just reading from the script. 10 years later in 2022 she had not learned anything and did the same.
Now for some suitable anagrams of her name.
Anagrams

Summary and final thoughts
That’s my assessment of Anne Urquhart, the lady with the ‘ercut’.
The chief government whip, ‘Her a HQ unutterable Nazi’ whose name seems have destined her for the role.
‘huh AZ rattle brain queen’ is a great description of her as she has signally failed to consider the flawed vaccines and the patent harms they do.
And as for tetrabenazine being in her name this is no surprise. After all look at the adverse effects she causes. As Wikipedia says:
The most common adverse reactions, which have occurred in at least 10% of subjects in studies and at least 5% greater than in subjects who received placebo, have been: sedation or somnolence, fatigue, insomnia, depression, suicidal thoughts, akathisia, anxiety, and nausea. It has also been reported to produce apathy.
I think this describes Anne Urquhart very well, and should a barber ask ‘Would you like ‘Anne Urquhart’ sir?’ I would reply ‘No thank you!’ How about you?

She's a dud BM but the Aussie guys are fun.
Old Annie Urquhart and her hubby had a huge bust up. She screamed at him to pack his f$#$&/g bags and GTFO.
Well he was all packed up and about to get out the door when she said "I also wish you a long and painful death, you lousy bastard!"
"So, what? You want me to stay now?" he replied.👍🇦🇺
I’ve seen some beautiful Australian women…lots of them but this one is an embarrassment.
