Why wait for life expectancy to run its natural course when there’s a whole menu of early exit options available? No one could accuse them then of lacking commitment.
These ’limits to growth’ crusaders have built themselves a neat little self-fulfilling prophecy: deindustrialize, shut down farms, reject cheap and abundant energy — and then feign surprise when there’s not enough food and resources to go around.

In light of recent comments regarding global overpopulation, by our esteemed member Clive Brooke, THE OFFICE OF THE PARLIAMENTARY EXIT INITIATIVE wish to lead by example.
At over eighty years of age, Clive recognises that it is time for those of us who have long enjoyed the comforts of an overcrowded world to make way for future generations.
Accordingly, we are calling upon all current and former parliamentarians worldwide to join us in this historic initiative to reduce the human population, starting with ourselves.
For too long, politicians have told others to make sacrifices. It is only right that we, the architects of this overcrowded planet, take the first noble step. Let the leaders finally do something useful for humanity.
