re: Trump - yes he does work in very mysterious ways, which is also the secret to his success. I've watched him for 45 yrs, he make moves that are unfathomable but when you figure it out later, then you can see how he outsmarted the enemy. He's getting America back on track and vanquishing the deep state and more people are beginning to see that every day. It makes this July 4th very special for us "Yanks". Hello! You may have read it, but I do think Trump is in this strange way a Revelation trump sounding. The past 5 years have been so bizarre nothing else really makes sense.
And thank you, I still struggle with energy although a little better I think. Back in 2020 I had the thought that my health affects the world and the world's health affects me.
So as I get better the world gets better and vice versa.
As to my little corner, well the traffic has got worse on the main roads and they have been building houses on what were fields. They make no provision for proper infrastucture, it was imposed on the county from central government.
But God is still good and our garden is looking beautiful in the sunshine.
By the way, the "Emerald Isle" is strictly Ireland due to its rainfall. Our grass is looking quite dry.

We're having the same problem here in U.S. with building houses in what were rural areas. The woods are disappearing. Glad your garden is beautiful!

And it's still dry as a bone. Everybody is getting grumpy with the heat as opposed to grumpy with the rain. Unless the chem lines are done at night, or in the Atlantic, we have clear sky. I like the "homestead" it sounds much nicer than smallholder - which seems more insignificant. I need to cut the hay we only use it as duck bedding, so urgency to get the right fodder isn't applicable here - nor do we have a baler! Need to remortgage for one of those - nope, builders dumpy bags are the go to tool!
As for Mr Trump he does keep people on their toes - yes it's good, oh lawks that's bad! Here we have bad, worse, even more worse, insane and diabolical.
