Labour Together and BritCard: a progressive digital identity for Britain – part 2: report
By Baldmichael Theresoluteprotector’sson
I mentioned in part 1 that I found a report by Labour Together, a UK Labour Party think tank. If you haven’t seen part 1 here’s my link.
Labour Together and BritCard: a progressive digital identity for Britain – part 1, CEO and board
And here is the link to the report.
https://www.labourtogether.uk/all-reports/britcard
This is the executive summary from the pdf report, dated June 2025 which is linked in the above, but here it is anyway.
Text in italics from the executive summary with my comments as appropriate.
It says
For a progressive society to work, it needs to be able to collectively agree who is allowed to join it.
Alarm bells ring immediately with this first line. What is a ‘progressive society’? Well, I have done a separate post on that already, link at the end.
And who is going to agree about those ‘allowed to join in’? It reminds me of George Carlin’s phrase ‘it’s a big club and you ain’t in it’.
George Carlin - It’s A BIG Club & You Ain’t In It!
Because it will exclude those who cannot join it, it needs to give its members proof that they belong.
I have lived here since my birth as have my parents. I have paid taxes for which I have had little in return. Why should I need proof that I belong in this country?
There are many in the UK who should not be here, but are in positions of power in the background. Tony Blair springs to mind.
The UK doesn’t do this. Our conflicted historic approach to issuing identity credentials has led to a situation that represents the worst of both worlds. We currently can’t effectively stop people from living and working in our country illegally.
Because the existing controls are ignored and not enforced properly.
And we can’t effectively stop the outside corporations who are stitching us up and taking our wealth and health.
Nor can we efficiently support legal citizens and residents to exercise their rights.
Who is ‘we’? The government? It has been poisoning people via its lies and deceit over COVID 19. Labour were part of the scam back in 2020 so it has no excuse.
This paper makes the case for the introduction of BritCard: a mandatory national digital identity that would be issued free of charge to all those with the right to live or work in the UK, whether they are British-born nationals or legal migrants. The BritCard would be a verifiable digital credential downloaded onto a user’s smartphone, which could be instantly checked by employers or landlords using a free verifier app.
A mandatory national digital identity free of charge eh? Paid for by our taxes you mean. Like the NHS which is poisoning people with vaccines.
A smartphone eh? There are those of us like me who don’t think a smartphone is that smart.
A free verifier app eh? Paid for by our taxes you mean.
By introducing a mandatory, universal, national identity credential - BritCard - the Labour Government has the opportunity to build a new piece of civic infrastructure, something that would become a familiar feature of daily life for everyone in the country.
When it says manda-tory it should say ‘manda-Labour’ as it is a Labour proposal! But then the Labour Party and the Tory Party are not dissimilar and work for the money men, not the public.
For a new piece of civic infrastructure read something for the big tech companies such as Oracle and Larry Ellison to make money from at taxpayers’ expense. And of course the evil Tony B-liar is always in the background.
Is the tech giant who gave Blair £257m in line for huge ID card contract? Government embroiled in cronyism row after revelation former PM lobbied for his billionaire backer who could make millions
28 September 2025
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15140649/tech-giant-Blair-257m-ID-card-contract.html
It says
Documents seen by The Mail on Sunday reveal the former prime minister urged Business Secretary Peter Kyle to consult a technology institute founded by his friend Larry Ellison in a private meeting last year.
Mr Ellison, the world’s second richest man, has donated or pledged a staggering £257million for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
He founded the Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT), a research centre in Oxford, and is chairman of tech giant Oracle, which has a £700million IT deal with four Whitehall departments.
Experts say Oracle is now in pole position to profit from plans to force millions of adults to sign up for a digital ID card.
And
Mr Kyle, Health Secretary Wes Streeting and Chancellor Rachel Reeves have met bosses from Oracle.
The incompetent meeting the vultures.
I could go into great detail on this article but you can read yourselves and make your own conclusions, but I may do a follow-up article. The comments at the bottom of the article are worth a quick look.
Continuing with the Labour Together report.
It would support better enforcement of migration rules, and protect vulnerable British citizens from being wrongly denied their rights.
If they are on the left politically. If they are on the right, possibly not.
It could end identity exclusion,
As we must include everyone, especially the insane and perverted
resolving uncertainty and risk for those whose status is uncertain,
like the non-binary
and providing a quick, secure, privacy-preserving
which some unknown tech operative somewhere can examine or change
means for everyone to verify their identity and their migration status when dealing with government, when taking up a new job, or taking on property.
Who wants to deal with government which has proven it is corrupt and lying due to the scumbags that infest it? We already have passports etc., these should be sufficient. The criminal will always by-pass the rules and Digital ID will not improve matters.
It could lay the foundations for a fully-functioning digital identity system that would in time deliver huge benefits in terms of great efficiency and better outcomes in public services, as well as being a driver of growth, building on the existing One Login and Gov.UK Wallet. Our polling suggests it would be immensely popular;around 80% of the public support use of digital identity for a range of use cases.
“fully-functioning” and government are an oxymoron as the government is full of morons.
For “would in time deliver huge benefits” add ‘for the tech companies and their cronies.’
As to One Login it may not be so great.
Government faces claims of serious security and data protection problems in One Login digital ID
Published: 14 Apr 2025
It says
The Government Digital Service (GDS) was warned by the Cabinet Office and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) that its One Login digital identity system had “serious data protection failings” and “significant shortcomings” in information security that could increase the risk of data breaches and identity theft.
Problems were subsequently confirmed by an internal investigation led by GDS’s chief information security officer (CISO). But when, soon after, an MP wrote to the Cabinet Office to enquire about potential issues around the information security of One Login, GDS did not mention any of the warnings in its response.
The Gov.UK Wallet is basically an app for your mobile phone where you can store government documents. It is not up and running yet. It says
Use of GOV.UK Wallet will be entirely optional.
See
Entirely optional it says, yet they want to make Digital ID mandatory??
As to the around 80% of the public supporting it, what a load of bollux. They had a sample of 1,912 GB adults according to the pdf document, bottom page 11). That is hardly proof of substantial support as we don’t know how the poll was actually carried out.
Here is a useful site for some additional information.
There’s Something Starmer Isn’t Telling Us About His Digital ID Scheme
JJ Starky Sep 28, 2025
Back to the executive summary.
All the necessary elements of the technology needed to deliver BritCard exist and are already in use in multiple arenas. The additional cost would be modest relative to other forms of infrastructure - we estimate between £140-400m.
Since when have government estimates in the digital world been accurate? And just think if your builder said ‘Oo, cost yer between 140,000 and 400,000 quid mate’.
But it is not their money they want to spend, it is the taxpayers’.
Applying internet-era test-and-learn design practices to the development of the BritCard would help to avoid the pitfalls faced by some public sector digital platforms.
You mean they weren’t doing this already?? I suppose this is like the roll out of the COVID vaccines. Test and learn that poisoning the masses is not good for health. ‘We have learned the lessons so now we will make sure the scam is not so obvious next time’.
By embodying the highest standards of transparency and engaging in meaningful co-design,
We are talking about the government here, don’t laugh.
the Government could rebuild trust
it is broken beyond repair
and ensure BritCard represented an improvement in privacy and accessibility.
The Government has stated time and again its ambition to make the best possible use of technology to serve the public.
And time and time again many people still believe the lies. It may seem like pushing the idea, but that last sentence when anagrammed has this longest single word anagram:
- meningoencephalomyelitideses
This is essentially inflammation of the membranes around the brain and spinal cord and can be very serious and life threatening. Never a truer word was contained about government ambitions.
And while I am at it I tried ‘government ambitions’. Of the top single words (longest is ‘roentgenisation’, to do with X-rays) we have next
- envenomisation
- overestimating
- overestimation
As to phrases these are top two words:
- Bonita misgovernment
- misgovern obtainment
- obtain misgovernment
- stammering obvention
Obvention is the act of happening incidentally. Says it all.
Mind you, as we are talking here of Keir’s party’s ambitions perhaps we should say ‘Starmering obvention’!
The foreword of the pdf is given by Jake Richards, MP for Rother Valley (Yorkshire) and Adam Jogee, MP for Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Let’s have a quick look at them. Text in italics from the respective Wikipedia entries.
Jake Richards
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jake_Richards_(politician)
Jacob Ben Richards (born 5 July 1989) is a British Labour Party politician who has served as Member of Parliament for Rother Valley since 2024.
And
He is engaged to the Sky News political correspondent Liz Bates, with whom he has a daughter.
I wonder if she has a brother called Norman?
He worked as a barrister at Deka Chambers in London; his colleague Catherine Atkinson was also elected as a Labour MP at the 2024 general election.
Keep it in the work family then. Keir Starmer is a lawyer too, lots of politicians are.
He is
a co-sponsor of Kim Leadbeater’s Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill on assisted suicide.
So he is another of the swine who would terminate the weak and unwanted in the name of compassion.
Richards’ sister is a Special Advisor (SpAd) to Yvette Cooper. His brother-in-law is Gregor Poynton, Labour MP for Livingston since 2024.
Keep it in the close family then.
Jacob Ben Richards will anagram to these two 2 word phrases:
- chancroids jabber
- chancroid jabbers
Chancroids is a genital disease. Very unpleasant. Then we can have
- jr airhead cons BBC
Kamala Harris has airhead in her name too.
- nb cc diarrhea jobs
I gather there is a lot of crap in the House of Commons.
Adam Jogee
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Jogee
Adam Habib Jogee (born December 1991) is a British Labour Party politician who has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Newcastle-under-Lyme since 2024.
And
Jogee was born and bred in Haringey, and has Jamaican and Zimbabwean heritage; he has spoken about his experiences with racism and Islamophobia.
For some reason there is no personal information yet he is married to Alison, a Belfast born ICU nurse according to these links.
https://www.pressreader.com/uk/the-sentinel/20240706/281586655805520
https://www.pressreader.com/uk/the-sentinel/20230311/281835762922176
In the first link he is reported as saying just after the general election that
After 14 long years Keir Starmer’s changed Labour has won the trust of the British people and we now have a chance to get our country back on track.
No, Adam Labour did not win the trust of the British people; it got in on less votes than when Labour lost in 2019.
And Labour has changed into something even worse, an incompetent bunch of fools with Tony B-liar in the background. And Keir Starmer’s ratings are tanking.
https://www.opinionsandratings.com/top-stories/keirstarmers2025approvalrating
It says
Keir Starmer Approval Rating: Latest Insights and Observations
Overall perception: 20% of people think Keir Starmer is doing a good job, while 59% think he is doing a bad job, giving a net rating of -39%.
Gender split: Men rate him slightly more positively (25% good) than women (15% good), but both have majority negative views.
Age trends: Younger adults (18–24) are more positive (32% good) compared to older adults 65+ (15% good). Negative ratings increase with age, peaking at 75+ (74% bad).
Regional differences: Highest positive ratings come from Greater London (38%) and East Midlands (21%), while the North East (51% bad) and North West (52% bad) are more negative.
Degree impact: People with degrees are more favorable (31% good) than those without (15% good).
Very good vs. very bad: Only 6% overall think he is doing a very good job, whereas 43% think he is doing a very bad job. 14% say he’s doing a somewhat good job, and 16% say somewhat bad, indicating many are mildly positive or negative.
Neutral opinions: 15% of respondents are neutral, neither rating him good nor bad.
It also says Starmer
framed the next election as a “battle for the soul of the country,” positioning Labour against Reform UK.
Whatever one my think of Reform UK, you will have a choice of souls.
And I don’t know about Nigel Farage but you will have an arse ‘soul’ in Starmer. By way of reminder Keir’s full name anagrams to:
– Ok try arse reminder
And he supports Arse-nal.
As to Adam
There was notable controversy within the local Labour Party regarding the selection of Jogee. Local media reported that three of the five constituency branches boycotted the selection process in protest over the exclusion of prominent local councillor Dave Jones from the longlist. Members expressed frustration that Jones, a well-known local figure, was overlooked in favour of candidates from outside the area, including Jogee, leading to accusations of Labour national HQ “parachuting” in a candidate, bypassing local preferences.
Whether he makes a good local MP I can’t say, there is nothing about any working life outside of politics, but he is backing the wrong horse in Labour.
Adam Habib Jogee will anagram to:
- ago bhaji beamed
I suppose it will help to curry favour with the Indian community
- me a job, a bighead
Really, hmm…..
- am babe jihad ego
The Islam connection
- AI homage jabbed
Hence his support for the Britcard report. With a nurse as wife I suppose he has had the vaccines
- jibed Bahama ego
His grandfather came from Jamaica so close.
- eg ah jibed Obama
Maybe he fancies himself as the new Obama. With his Irish wife he could think of himself as O’Bama.
- i.e. ah mad beg a job
Needs must, but with Labour, seriously Adam?
Report authors
It lists three, Kirsty Innes, Morgan Wild and Laurel Boxall. How much they are to blame one cannot tell, but as mentioned in part 1 Kirsty Innes worked for Tony Blair Institute.
I won’t do an in depth look at them, but Kirsty and Morgan (a man in case you wondered) are those with experience whereas Laurel is young (probably 25 years old), not that long out of university.
For want of light relief here are some anagrams of their names.
Kirsty Innes:
- it sky sinner
- Keir sty inns
- stinkers yin
Yin is the dark side of course.
Morgan Wild:
- malign word
- worming lad
- mad owl grin
I suppose a ‘mad owl grin is a ‘twit twoo’, emphasis on the twit!
Laurel Boxall:
- all labour lex
- all ox rubella
- a Ebola lull rx
She clearly had to work with the Labour Party. Otherwise there are two diseases, oh dear.
I will add she did an MPhil in Digital Humanities at Cambridge. ‘Digital Humanities’ anagrams to
- I am diluting a shite
Again, oh dear.
Labour Together
There are some suitable and amusing anagrams from this.
- reboot laughter
Totalitarian comedy ‘you will laugh, damn you!’
- rubeolar ghetto
Measles in your open prison
- bootleg urethra
Something to piss on us
- rogue betrothal
With Tony Blair maybe
- tougher bloater
A bloater can be this
From
https://thelastofus.fandom.com/wiki/Bloater
It says
Bloaters are the fourth, rarest, and one of the most dangerous stages of the infected in The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II. They take a few years to develop and reach this stage after exposure to the Cordyceps brain infection.
Mm, rather like COVID 19 infection then, the idea that is, otherwise known as mRNA injections. I wonder how many of Labour Together are jabbed?
- able hog torture
Until you squeal for mercy
- got euro blather
They are remainers at heart
- or the brutal ego
The alternative name
There are a few indications that Labour Together could be a problem. The report uses this phrase:
Mandatory national digital identity:
mandtory il g e = 12 individual letters
Here are four anagram phrases:
- aid tidying my international data lot
They say it is national but the intention is international
- ay a totally intimidating android net
- initiating AD lady titan demonolatry
- intentionally add a tag intimidatory
The above give voice to the grave concerns.
Summary and final thoughts
That completes part 2. It presents lots of rabbit holes for people to go down and ferret out the truth.
In any event the BritCard and Digital ID may seem like a good idea to some and from certain angles, but since when have we been able to really trust the government?
Certainly not in more recent decades as the UK has become more and more Godless and self-centred.
The scheme will be another excuse for big contracts of taxpayer’s money for outside interests to shaft the UK even further.
And most of those involved are in the USA where big tech is centred.
The whole tone of the report is arrogant and reflects the pride of those who call themselves ‘progressives’. As I have indicated in my posts on progressive and progressive society, the very words indicate the serious dangers with the ideology.
A juggernaut progresses but can crush all in its way, such is the nature of those who think progress is any more than reinventing the wheel.
The very fact that Tony Blair is behind it is a big no-no, a good litmus test of whether it is a good or bad idea.
Of course we do already have some form of Digital ID in the National Insurance numbers allocated to us in the UK.
But we certainly don’t need any more control via a smart phone or other device. It may seem convenient and done with allegedly good intentions but as the saying goes, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
Satan is associated with Hell (strictly Hades) and I pointed out in my part 1 on BritCard that Tony Blair’s full name includes the word ‘Satan’.
And even his ‘Tony Blair Institute’, short for ‘Tony Blair Institute for Global Change’ (which has ‘satanically’ in it) contains this full anagram:
- tribulations entity
Reminds me of the great tribulation of Revelation in the Bible and I say this is no coincidence. Digital ID is planned to be a worldwide scheme where no one can buy or sell without the mark of the beast or the number of its name.
So ‘No to Digital ID’!
