''Progressive means merely reinventing the wheel and progressives forget the heart of mankind is corrupted.''

Thank you for the awesome article, love the quote.

The progressive are agressive in their move downwards. I don't believe they realize that fact. When humanity, the woke ones, know this they will push back. As with the wheel, history goes round and round and back again.

Thank you! As you say history goes round and round and back again. Nothing new under the sun as Ecclesiastes says.

"...Standing up for the little guy against the large corporations..." Except Pfizer and Moderna, amirite? Take what they give you and don't pull any of that 'anti-corp' bull shit on us little guy. Do as your told or else....the virus is gonna hunt you down....actually, we're gonna hunt you down."

They used to say liberalism is a mental illness. Perhaps progressivism in its current form is a mental illness?

Read the the book 'Illiberal Reformers' by Leonard. Gets to the heart of it.

Marxism, Socialism, Communism, Fabianism, ect... all had negative connotations before arriving in the US. When the socialist manifesto came to the United states, the proponents renamed their platform Progressivism circa 1890. From 1890 to 1930ish was the Great Progressive Era which closed out with a 50 yr plan to transform the US. Circa 1956, the Democratic party adopted the socialist manifesto. The socialist and communist parties dissolved into the Democratic party. The liberal interpretation of America's founding faded as the party moved more to the radicalized Political Left rejecting the founding altogether. By 1980, the 50 year plan had not achieved its objective and the global Progressive movement spent most the 1980s deliberating a new approach. Circa 1987, they sought to co-opt pantheistic naturalism and environmental reforms of the Adirondacks during the 1970s to obfuscate their agenda items for transforming the US. Shortly thereafter, the biodiversity movement and global climate change initiatives took off targeting the US. A constituency of nations was built before pressuring the US into environmental accords and treaties. The Political Right has steadfastly refused to ratify these treaties and accords.

Meanwhile, the socialist program has adapted along the way into variant forms arriving today at a modified version of Marxism. The current version appears to have moved away from the proletariat and bourgeoisie having the Politburo oversight construct of original Marxism to a more vertical construct of the Politburo dealing directly with the bourgeoisie who in turn deals with the working people or proletariat.

At any rate, Progressivism is a failed program everywhere it is implemented. While the US remains to have a twinkling of the free-market, nations operating under a socialized or command economy seek to steal intellectual property from the US to prop up their system. The traditional US economic system is creativity in service to humanity - free market capitalism.

Many thanks Tom. Your point re family farms and factories is well made. I think the same can be said for the crafts, for example carpentry/joinery. Many children are not academic and do far better learning a trade where interest in the work will lead to other competencies.

As a building surveyor I appreciate those who make things and think much more than those who just think and don't make anything!

Can you explain further what you mean by "Same can be said for trans rights/pharma rights."?

Thanks, it was the reference to rights that was confusing to me. I suppose I would say they can do something via pharma (create transgender people) therefore they do it and assume it is ok, but just because one can do something doesn't make it right to do it.

I consider the pharmalogical products have disorted the minds and bodies in the first place to get people to demand more of the same.
