Republicans are red, Democrats are blue

Here is a poem for Sunday which it is here in the UK.

                              Republicans are red

                              Democrats are blue

                              Covid is nasty

                              But it’s only the ‘flu.



                              Labour is red

                              Conservative is blue

                              Covid is Nazi

                              And so is the W.H.O.



                              Are you well-read

                              But feeling blue?

                              Please don’t forget

                              That you are loved too

The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He drives out the enemy before you, giving the command, ‘Destroy him!’

Deuteronomy 33 v.27

Now I thought I might end it there, but no, it looks as though I should extract some more for those who might benefit from it.

I wanted to see what the Hebrew for arms was and apparently it is זְרֹעֹ֣ת (zə·rō·‘ōṯ) from זְרוֹעַ, zeroa, meaning ‘arm, shoulder, strength’.

Now zeroa will anagram to various things but what stands out is ‘A zero’. Zə·rō·‘ōṯ can be considered as ‘zeroot and this anagrams as ‘To zero’.

Why would arms be ‘a zero’? Because when they enfold you they take the shape of a zero, like a circle, a circle of love, even egg shaped.

This is another reason why like my previous post says “Love is an egg and ‘un œuf’”.

That might be enough on its own but there’s more. Zeroot will anagram to ‘Tor Zoe’. A tor is a hill or rocky outcrop on a hill, and Zoe means ‘life’. So we have a ‘hill of life’.

But zeroot can be seen as ‘ze root’, with ze a corruption of ‘the’. The arms of love are the root of security and safety.

And God is love.

I could do a breakdown of all the other words in the Deuteronomy verse but I will do the final words “Destroy him”. In Hebrew this is one word הַשְׁמֵֽד haš·mêḏ, from שָׁמַד shamad, to be exterminated or destroyed.

Anagramming haš•mêḏ or hasmed we can get ‘mashed’ or ‘shamed’ and ‘dash em’ or ‘he dams’. All of these can be seen to be meanings of ‘Destroy!’

Indeed, ‘he dams’ is close to ‘Destroy him!’ or more correctly ‘He destroy’ as in the command with ‘He’ the object, ‘destroy’ the requirement.

There is even ‘he’s mad’ or ‘she mad’ too in the anagrams where he or she goes mad as it were to destroy the enemy, who or whatever that may be.

Final thoughts and summary

There you are, a short poem of encouragement plus a verse of scripture by way of reminder. You are loved and as a consequence the enemy can be ‘mashed’, ‘shamed’, be ‘dash’-ed to pieces and ‘dam’-med.

As to the enemy, well apart from Satan there are plenty of others including the W.H.O. and all the lies regarding COVID 19. I hope I have given you some more ammunition for the fight and bolstered your ‘resolve’.

Which is an anagram of ‘re loves’!!!! Everything comes back to love, the circle of love!

And underneath are the everlasting arms.

But ‘arms’ is an anagram of ‘rams’. Jesus is the ‘ram’ of God the heavenly Father who is the big ram. Two rams, Father and Son who support us.

So underneath are the everlasting rams.
