"Forgive us our sins just as we forgive those who have sinned against us" Luke 11:4 - but, "If you do not repent you will all likewise perish!" Luke 13:3
Yahoo Mail threatened me with bad things if I did not un-bloat my mail. In doing that I discovered something I was searching for : https://youtu.be/CWlGjOJHLmU .It is of course just an excerpt. Mercy and forgiveness should not be trivialized. All actions/decisions have consequences like the recent mandates and lockdowns. Sweden didn't lockdown while Japan does not require two doses to keep your job. Pope Francis led a billion sheeple to ungreen pastures and obliterated any hope of religious exemption. Thanks to this Bishop, I can have my pound of flesh.
I think that would be called retribution and I pray that we see that as well! They do need to account for what they did to us, our families and all of the innocents!
I did enjoy this post, thank you. Who would have thought one word was used in so many languages, but with different meanings. Well, obviously you did! We had to learn the whole of Portia's speech at school - I remember some but not all. My memory is like a sieve! Thankfully we had The Taming of the Shrew for O Level which wasn't as dark as Merchant, so easier to absorb!
Glad you enjoyed it. I did 'Macbeth' to death as it were for 'O' level, and one doesn't forget the classic lines. "What bloody man is that" always amused us boys.
Really wonderful Michael!

Thank you A T. Those two scriptures sum it up just right.
You are welcome and thank you so much for your post!

Thank you. I met the bishop and his wife at a Christian Concern event in Oxford. A decent man.
Merci, beaucoup!
