Here is my take on some news items. Sometimes I dive down rabbit holes as certain things arise. You can take each item on its own, but the whole does link together.
Interestingly, I mentioned ‘A lark ascending’ in my last post, The Holy Spirit, the Advocate – Parakletos, an analysis. In the 10th May, 2024 edition of The Times which I had hoped to post on, there is a reference to the death of Shirley Conran, a well-known British author, designer, journalist and social entrepreneur according to Wikipedia.

The ‘superwoman’ reference is to a book she wrote of the same name in 1975, said to be a feminist self-help guide. I haven’t read it.
Anyway, I found a Guardian article on an interview with her.

It says
At the age of 40, she had gone into hospital to be treated for pneumonia, only to emerge a month later with ME.
One might be forgiven for thinking that ME is the writer of the article, but I take it to be Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.
One wonders which hospital and what drugs did they give her. She lived to be 91 so I suppose she got over it.
She had two sons, the younger of whom is said to be homosexual. His mother divorced when he was two I gather. She married twice again but these were only short, 2-3 years each.
It is no wonder children go wonky in life.
Enough of that, let’s go to the 12th July edition.
The front page picture is of Keir Starmer shaking hands with Joe Biden. Joe looks rather sleepy. There is an article on page 8.
President isn’t senile – he was on good form
Keir denies Joe is senile. Keir wears glasses. I think he should get a new pair.
What Joe thinks of Keir is anybody’s guess. Probably thinks he is vice president of the Ukraine. After all it rains a lot in the UK.
Keir is reported as being asked whether criticism of Joe was misguided to which he said an emphatic ‘Yes’.
However Joe introduced President Zelensky (the extra ‘Y’ is dropped) as ‘President Putin’. Perhaps he knows something we don’t.
Apparently George Clooney, the actor, thinks Biden should step aside. He is a Democratic Party supporter, most mainstream actors are it seems. He also likes vaccines.

Prisoners to be freed after 40% of sentence – front page)
Thousands could benefit from early release to prevent jails running out of cells within weeks
I thought it was inmates that ran out of cells, not jails.
Anyway, Keir Starmer, or Queer Stammer as I prefer, is to approve the release of thousands of prisoners to ease the crisis in the justice system as there are not many cells left in men’s prisons.
How exciting. Lots of criminals loose on the street early. Perhaps this is to provide space for all the MP’s who supported lockdowns, masks and vaccines including Starmer.
Mind you if it is only men’s prisons, how about just getting the men to self-identify as female. If the female prisons are not that full, surely some flexibility is required.

It says weight loss injections such as Ozempic could cut the risk of dementia and help people to stop smoking, research has suggested.
A team at Oxford University investigated the link between semaglutide, which is sold as Ozempic and Wegovy, and brain or mental health conditions.
Perhaps they should give it to Joe Biden. Bit late for that I feel though. Although maybe it causes the conditions.
Semaglutide is said to be a ‘miracle’ drug. By the pharmaceutical companies I imagine.
Rather like the COVID 19 vaccines for example.

It mentions that

Branswell’s article says

I think she missed a 6 from 66. And I see first injection just after the Ides of March. Beware the Ides of March!
Then she mentions a Rick Bright, once head of Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), but left under a dispute with the Trump administration.

As for Helen Branswell she ought to study some proper science, not the drivel she reports.
And as for semaglutide which started this section, it has a range of side effects. It has only been approved for use since 2017 in the USA. In a decade or two they will have more results from the experiment. Where the high tide of its success will be will depend on how long big pharma can persuade people to take it.
Vaccination plea as whooping cough kills nine babies – page 6
Big pharma profits are falling so time to ramp up the fear again. This time it is nine babies. But over what period? Since November last year I gather. So maybe one per month.
Back in the 10th May edition they had an article saying five, so now perhaps they had two each in the last 2 months.
Apparently the number of cases this year is up to 7,599 as opposed to 858 last year.
The link is said to be due to falling vaccination rates as mothers are getting wise to the scam that poisoning themselves is not a good idea to help their precious baby.
Kate Brintworth, chief midwifery officer for England said the rise in whooping cough cases is of real concern. I think she should have left out ‘-cern’.

It starts by reminding us that Alastair Campbell said ‘we don’t do God’ but he knew that Tony Blair very much did.

There is a John Campbell who calls himself a doctor who is on YouTube and has a substack channel. He stopped posting on substack, probably because people got at him for his early promoting of the jabs. He seems to have repented now.
One wonders if there is something about the name Campbell.

Well Wes, try halting all vaccination for a start. Then stop doctors poisoning people with pharmaceuticals and get the government to stop food being poisoned by certain preservatives like sodium nitrite.
And clean up the water supplies.
He says “Our love for the NHS is not in doubt.” Speak for yourself mate, it is good in parts like the curate’s egg, which is not saying much.
Wes Streeting comes from a single parent family and is homosexual. So often the case, broken homes and sexual confusion.

Health secretary looks down under for lessons in healthcare reform
On the same page there is more on his ideas. Apparently Australia achieves significantly better outcomes when tackling the biggest killers, including cancer, heart disease and strokes.
It doesn’t mention COVID 19, a.k.a. the ‘flu. Where did that go I wonder?
It says better outcomes due to hybrid private-public funding model. So more of the same then, privatisation of the profitable bits of the NHS.
I could comment in detail on the various key lessons by the writers of the column, but I will highlight these.
Australia has 5 times more scanners (or maybe that should be scammers) per person than the UK. It says that this helps explain why the UK lags behind Australia in cancer survival.
No it doesn’t, it just means that more people are scanned. It said near the start of the article that the lifestyle is better in Australia and with year round sunshine so vitamin D levels and health will be much better.
There are also a lot of private hospitals, about 620 compared to 800 public. Recovery from disease should also be much quicker.
This is why COVID 19 (the ‘flu) was not a thing in 2020 until they started jabbing people with poisons. This is not rocket science.
Streeting has also announced plans to divert billions from hospitals to GPs to expand community care.
As GPs are private practices they will be very pleased no doubt.
And people think Labour care about the NHS more than the Tories. Fools.

They would. More money for shareholders and chief executives. How much of this goes outside this country?
Whilst I am not a fan of nationalisation, they should never have been privatised in the first place. Such things are basic and as long as we have people running private companies who are more interested in profit than service the problems will remain.
‘Use less, pay less’ plan for household energy changes
I thought that was the norm anyway, what’s going on? However this is not the actual use of electricity but the standing charges which have gone up significantly, typically more than double since 2021.
The excuse is no doubt the Ukraine war, whatever is truly going on there.
In reality it is the electricity companies taking the piss and sucking money from the consumers to make false profits from false prophets.

Biden shows he will put himself above all else
It says

I think not. The Lord Almighty has been intervening a while now, it is His nature to do so. He might let things stew a while so that people get the message He is not best pleased with them and their actions.
Apparently Joe Biden said in an interview that he “might” consider withdrawing if “the Lord Almighty” told him.
The Lord Almighty considered a thunderbolt or too when he said that, but the angels advised Him that would spoil the fun of the meme artists, so he has relented for the time being.
Joe has seen himself as the only one who can save the nation from Donald Trump who is Hitler incarnate in the Democrats’ eyes. Such is their projection nowadays.
Of course there are many questions about Trump and what game is he really playing, but it is clear that Biden cannot be abided by the majority of the USA and Camel the Harris is no better.
It is all theatre of course but Joe has perjured his soul. I suppose like a captain he wants to go down fighting with his ship, taking the crew along with it.
Rabies outbreak linked to seal attacks on Cape Town bathers
My eyesight can be unfocused at times with my tiredness so I thought there was a rabbis’ outbreak in South Africa.
But it wasn’t a Jewish convention, but the viral disease. Which of course makes me thoroughly suspicious as virology is fundamentally flawed.
It appears seals are attacking people and the authorities are blaming the virus on the seals aggressive behaviour. The seals are described as having “cherry-red, evil eyes”.
Opening up the seals for post mortem examinations are supposed to have resulted in the rabies confirmation.
But I think that God is using the seals to judge South Africans. We are after all in the end times Revelation period and what does the Good Book refer to?

Have a relative with us from SA. I'm keeping under the radar - the con is strong there, so biting my tongue. Today heard about the dreaded rabbis. Poor seals, I'm surprised it isn't brought on by avian flu spreading seabirds. There is also a big thing about fitness and the watches that track everything to give you data on how you can live healthier. Funny it doesn't mention not having the stabs. But it does reward you for spending less money, using less fuel - uhuh. Oh and long convid gives you heart issues, strokes and breathing difficulties - and stomach issues. Really? Arghhhhh - wake up!
