What is the difference between weather and climate? – a light bite

A quick one today as I have Christmas cards to do and we are going to ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens tonight in the village, an amateur dramatics production.
I would have liked to have been involved but I struggle with my energy and with my lopsided face there are only so many roles for that!
Anyway, regards the question here is the answer.
‘Weather’ is
the conditions in the air above the earth such as wind, rain, or temperature, especially at a particular time over a particular area:

Whereas ‘climate’ is what you can do when you come to a hill or mountain!
Weather (sic) you do or not is up to you.

Finally an indication of a very important difference (aside from climate = mood).
We have no idea about climate, literally zero. Assuming the “scientific” definition of climate as a sum of all variables pertaining to changes in weather across large areas and across thousands (or more) of years.
The first “reliable” recordings of weather parameters started after 1945, but in the absence of unified and harmonized regulations across the world you can hardly talk about reliability. The literature related to observations of weather in these early years doesn’t differ much from the adventures of Donald Duck, anyway. Fast forward 80 years and what we have today is not much different.
The so-called observations of climate in ancient times and earlier, supposedly based on geology and other efforts, are only guesses, at best, or pure fantasy adjusted to fit logic and reasoning. Referring to writings from the Middle Ages or earlier sounds like a joke. Completely unverifiable “sources” written by nobody knows who, why, when and what for (see the case of Shakespeare) are not really the best candidate for scientific research.
We have weather. Changing, volatile, alive. Enjoy. We don’t really know what will happen next.
Splashing millions of reflective solar panels in ground installations, blocking vegetation, interfering with humidity and movements of air masses, destroying local temperature cycles, affecting underground water management - nobody bothers to even think how it will change local weather. Destroying atmospheric pressures and wind masses with similar reckless wind turbines - nobody cares. Floating solar panel farms on huge areas of waters, radically destroying the established natural cycles of aeration, temperature balance, wave patterns - nobody even asks questions.
We are falling for the one gigantic stupidity, eliminating “fossil” fuels - which can easily be fine-tuned, cleaned and optimized - in favor of a number of solutions whose impact is not only unknown, but also not being actively researched. Add the unimaginable jump in electricity consumption to this equation - with equally unknown impact on the life on the Earth.
Plus… air conditioning… the total disaster of the human mind, conquering any remains of common sense. “How dare you”, where are you?
