I remember it very well. I had been very ill since Christmas - with a "flu" thing that hadn't been announced. My husband was in two minds should he call the doc or what - I said NO! A few days before lockdown I had been out for the first time - still had a bit of a cough - it had been a rough, seemingly never-ending nuisance. A 3 hour drive to see my daughter as we were going to hunt for a wedding dress for her. The weather was beautiful - no lines in those days across the sky. I stopped over for a couple of days and we found "the" dress, then relaxed, visited a garden centre and came home. Shortly after we were locked up like criminals in our own homes. Still the weather was beautiful. We were happy to stay at home, we have a smallholding and we were able to concentrate on the mini farm. But that was OK at first, then itchy feet. We wanted to see our families. Phones were OK, but not the same as having a hug. Stupid elbow bumps, stupid clapping and stupid snot rags. Never, ever will I do that again. Even if they throw me in jail! Then again, a useless eater, maybe a special chamber full of methane.
