Robert Malone, MD – controlled opposition?

If you are on substack then you will probably be aware of him. He has been prominent in the fight against the COVID 19 tyranny.
However, there have been those who question his truthfulness and integrity given his background in the pharmaceutical business and his seemingly sudden arrival on the alternative media scene.
He has a Wikipedia page but apparently it only started on the 29th July, 2021 which seems rather surprising. The latest version says
Robert Wallace Malone (born October 20, 1959) is an American physician and biochemist. His early work focused on mRNA technology, pharmaceuticals, and drug repurposing research. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Malone promoted misinformation about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

Well, he certainly has gained fame or notoriety depending on your point of view. As to foreigner he seems foreign to us who see his background let alone current beliefs as an issue.
As to servant of St John, well Trump’s middle name is John. Hmm…

You can read about him yourself but briefly he has a BS in biochemistry, an MS in biology, and an MD. He did a year-long postdoctoral studies program.
He then taught pathology and has done research and as a co-founder set up Atheric Pharmaceutical in 2013. His wife, Jill Glasspool Malone is part of the team. There is this link.

It says it has over 356,000 subscribers as of 9th April, 2025. With his white hair and neat beard he has the trusted grandfather look. And judging by the comments on his articles people many people do trust him.

Here is a biography of him providing some more detail. It refers to Alchem Laboratories in which he was Chief Medical Officer until 2020 according to Wikipedia.
It mentions his patents again and says

So he holds patents for vaccines that those of us in the know realise are a complete toxic fraud. And he is clever enough to persuade the government to fund such activities.

It is clear of course that he believes in ‘the virus’, how can he not as a vaccinologist. And he says near the end of his article
As we now know, that is how SARS-CoV-2 was created and then accidentally released on the Chinese people.
Well he is lying, SARS-CoV-2 is a psy op like the other viral deceits. I knew in 2020 they merely rebranded the ‘flu as has happened many times before, yet Robert is pushing the Gain-of function bollox. See my links on Wuhan ‘flu and Gain of function at the end. He then says
Given what we know about the ongoing SARS-CoV-2 gain-of-function research and yes, it is still ongoing, I believe we can assume that such research is also being conducted with the Ebola virus. This is downright frightening and we deserve answers. What gain of function research on Ebola is being conducted? What about other lethal pathogens?
As one commenter says his article is fear porn. Yes we deserve answers, like why is Robert Malone pushing this nonsense.

This is more bollox from Robert about viruses, herd immunity and so-called transmission and the ‘R’ rate or reinfection rate. It is all complete nonsense which I worked out in 2020. Again see my links at the end.
A simple answer should be that viral outbreaks occur because they have to blame anything but the toxic vaccines they give children.
COVID 19
You can read up about his comments according to Wikipedia which sets him up as challenging the official narrative, raising various concerns about the COVID 19 vaccines. It says
Malone has promoted hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin as COVID-19 treatments.
Whilst these no doubt are of some use and which I have covered in an earlier article on my WordPress site, these have been overly promoted as though they are essential, ignoring the fundamental deceit of rebranding the ‘flu.
It says he had a COVID vaccine.
In a July 2021 interview, Malone admitted to taking the Moderna vaccine, claiming that he did so due to suffering from long COVID, and because he and his wife needed to travel.
If he took the vaccine then he is very stupid or really does believe vaccines work. But there is no such thing as Long COVID which again I have covered in an article.
Perhaps he is just lying.

It says
UK MP Andrew Bridgen was joined in a special parliamentary meeting by Dr. Dave E. Martin, Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Ryan Cole, Dr. Pierre Kory, Professor Angus Dalgleish & Steve Kirsch, who gave their testimony on the Pandemic and it's consequences.
These are all big wigs in the fight against the pandemic, but I think fair to say are all virus believers who knowingly or otherwise refuse to expose the true fraud of the false pandemic.
Robert speaks at the end of ‘a rushed product, a rushed technology’ which is true, but implies that if they hadn’t been rushed they might have been useful.
But of course they never could be, no vaccine ever was useful, they were just made to appear so by massaging the data and the public’s perceptions.
Controlled opposition
He has been called controlled opposition. Wikipedia says controlled opposition is
… the use of black propaganda and saboteurs who claim to oppose a particular faction but are in fact working for the faction.
If one has understood the viral deceit and that all vaccines are useless at best then one will say that this fits Robert Malone.
However it could be more nuanced than that and he is really playing both sides, a double agent if you will, who profits either way.
He has defended himself against the charge in this article. I will comment as I go through.

there are efforts to delegitimize those who have been reporting these inconvenient truths if they are not sufficiently strident in their statements.
Well, he hasn’t been telling all the truth, and he is misleading people. And he was late to the game too.
Infiltrators, those who believe that they have not received sufficient attention for their own theories, and chaos agents are sowing discord by claiming that others who have remained data and documentation-based in their criticism must be “controlled opposition”, “grifters”, compromised by conflicts of interest, or in some way surreptitiously acting on behalf of governments, pharma, NGO, WEF or WHO if they do not endorse the latest and most extreme theories.
His use of language, ‘infiltrators’, ‘chaos agents’, ‘extreme theories’ denigrates those of us who are after the truth and moreover have seen it as regards viruses and vaccines which he has not.
And I would say he is projecting his own role as clearly he has conflicts of interest. That makes him a hypocrite.
While much of this involves variants of well known internet Trolling strategies (for example concern trolling or sealioning), in other cases either spontaneous or promoted moral outbidding/purity spirals (which are related to virtue signaling) drive groups committed to defending medical freedom into endorsing unsupported theories.
Wordy drivel from Robert
In the latest twist on the promoted and weaponized controversy of Germ vs Terrain Theory, various groups are now promoting the logic that there was no pandemic, and there was no SARS-CoV-2 virus.
There was no pandemic, merely a medical panic, and there is no SARS-CoV-2 virus, just a made up idea based around cellular debris, a bogeyman to scare the masses.
This thesis is built on redefinition of the meaning of the term “pandemic” to require global distribution of a highly lethal virus (if not sufficiently lethal, then “no pandemic”, or so goes the logic), and a misinterpretation of the correct observation of the widespread misuse of insufficiently specific or contaminated PCR-based testing (often employing excessively high cycle numbers) as demonstrating that to this group that “all” SARS-CoV-2 viral sequence data is fraudulent.
The PCR test is crap Robert and you should know that.
Those promoting these theories are quite evangelistic in their belief,
He is suggesting ‘evangelistic’ as derogatory but it means bringing a message, good news.
and consistent with the dynamics of moral outbidding and purity spirals attack and reject any who do not endorse their belief systems. Behaving akin to a cult, they typically reject data and alternative definitions or explanations inconsistent with their theories (as well as rejecting and ridiculing those who do not endorse their conclusions). In many cases, these armchair philosopher/epidemiologists find common cause with adjacent cults which deny the existence of all viruses.
A cult eh Robert? And how long have you been in the virus and vaccine cult yourself? What a slimy toad you are.
One consequence is the further alienation and discouragement of moderate, fact and documentation-based discussions and opinions.
Which you ignore Robert.
Another is that any dissenting opinions which differ from officially approved narratives are more readily cast as biased and unsupported- a strategic guilt by association. And most importantly the movable middle of the current political spectrum is alienated by what is rightfully seen as unsupported extremism.
What pray does that mean? Who is he talking about, himself or those that criticise him?
In any event he is suggesting that ‘extremism’ is always bad but it just means at the outer limits and that is so often where you find the truth
And as if that was not enough, as public interest in COVID wanes, those whose employment and careers have been damaged by speaking out about government, pharmaceutical industry and WHO mismanagement and untruths are now confronting new professional and economic realities. Medical licenses have been revoked, businesses have been destroyed, and employment opportunities have dried up. In many cases, these individuals have gained some degree of fame or notoriety from their dissenting opinions, and may have found ways to monetize this via telemedicine, selling on-line treatments, “praying away the COVID”, or promoting various social media-based business models.
What a hypocrite you are! You made your money and now can gain more via your substack. What did you lose??
But as public interest has waned, often these individuals or groups have found it necessary to take increasingly strident positions (or to attack others) resulting in an endless spiral of hype and outrage in pursuit of fame and fortune.
Says the man who charges for free speech and spent his working life in toxic pharmaceuticals.
This is a fundamentally immature and narcissistic response to a foreseeable winding down of this particular weaponized fear/crisis pairing,
What a weasel! You have weaponised fear in your articles. Again, you hypocrite Robert.
which could be avoided by focusing on the underlying issues of systemic corruption, the long term consequences of over-reliance on public-private partnerships, globalism, the rise of the censorship-industrial complex itself, and the exploitation of fear to advance political objectives. All of this further alienates the “persuadable middle” of the political spectrum, who can be reached and persuaded by clearly and calmly speaking provable data-based truth and providing “common sense” arguments.
All those underlying issues are fair and indeed are keys to the deceit, but underneath it all is the fundamental fraud of virology and vaccines which even a child should be able to understand.
He implies his arguments are common sense. Well common sense says there was no pandemic for a start, only lies, damn lies and dodgy statistics.
He says at the end referring to Senator Ron Johnson.
And so long as he is willing to try, I will be proud to serve my country in support of his efforts if again requested to do so. Damn the trolls, full speed ahead.

Summary and final thoughts
There you have my assessment of Robert Wallace Malone. He has the trusted grandfather look and is subscribed to by hundreds of thousands, although I wonder whether this figure is really true.
His first two name evoke two Scottish heroes, Robert the Bruce and William Wallace (of Braveheart fame) fighting against the English kings. So perhaps he sees himself in this light, a brave warrior.
And he has said he is willing to serve his country again with reference to Ron Johnson. Remember Malone means ‘servant of St John’!
He has stated he is a believer in our fundamental freedom of free speech, yet you pay him to comment on his substack. I wonder how much money he makes from that?
He has never been a practising physician, and has been in teaching, research and pharma business since college days.
He is in his own words a vaccinologist and not an anti-vaxxer, and has clearly profited hugely from his career.
Now he seemingly suddenly appears on the scene as an alternative principal narrator to the COVID 19 deceit. He pushes belief in viruses as disease causing and that they can be engineered to be deadly, distracting full attention from the full toxicity of vaccines and pharmaceuticals generally.
His company Atheric Pharmaceutical is based round the viral deceit so is a dead end money making venture, looks good but cannot be so. Interestingly, Atheric is a one word anagram of theriac. As Wikipedia says

As to controlled opposition again I say double agent seems more suitable, he is someone who has profited from pharma all his working life and now sees an opportunity to continue to profit from both sides.
It is after all in his name with the word ‘bartonellaceae’, the opportunistic bacteria making the most of the situation.

I suppose it was inevitable that he would hit back at those who have challenged him with the article I referred to in the main text, but it is clear how hypocritical he is and how obvious is his deceit.
He tells the truth mixed up with lies, or perhaps given the anagrams of his name he says true things and also a load of Baals!
He may not be mentioned in the book of Revelation but given he owns a horse farm and is misleading people, perhaps we might say he is a horseman of the a-pucker-lips.
Robert Malone, middle name Wallace, reminding me of Wallace and Gromit of the stop-motion animated comedy fame. But in his case as his article made me sick, Wallace and Vomit would be better.
And whilst Malone is supposed to mean ‘servant of St Jon’, it suggests to me ‘Mal One’, the ‘bad one’ as he is not as good as he likes to make out.
As Caitlin Johnstone says have no heroes, at least no earthly heroes and certainly not Robert Malone who is far from being one. Not that he doesn’t have useful information and interesting articles, that’s part of the game.
So if anything useful comes from him use it to full effect, just be wary of what comes out of his mouth, he speaks with forked tongue.
Finally I recall words in the first chapter of Genesis where God says it is not good for man to be Malone.
But I might have misread that!

You, the author, have collected plenty of details to illustrate that he is an insider. In fact, he irritated me from the very beginning to the point that I gave up on reading his stuff.
I don't know about others, but for me it was clear he was a plant from the beginning. He is confirming many "madical" (sic!) myths, while posing as someone honest and well-meaning.
