Odd post, but I love it!

Some 50 years ago, my brother and I started a lawncare and landscaping company...

We always recommended Japanese yews, hardy and can handle cold weather and heavy snow in Ontario, Canada.

I have 2 in the backyard, and trim once a year, and let them grow.

Oddity is my specialty! Playing with words and the sound of words can seem weird, but it leads to some surprising truths.

Take care what you do with the yew trimmings. I am not sure if different species are less toxic, but it appears they are all toxic as far as I can tell. I had some yew in the garden here and made sure I incinerated them.

Too true about toxicity.

We have 3 dogs, and yes, I burn clippings...
